Model FW-CAR-01 | 100 W total output | Cigarette-lighter powered | Dual retractable Type-C + Lightning | Independent 4G | OEM/ODM

Product Overview
The in-car shared charger — also sold as a 4G scan-to-charge in-car fast charging cable — is built for ride-hailing cars, taxis, coaches and fleet vehicles. One end is a cigarette-lighter plug: insert it and the unit is live. The other end carries dual retractable spring cables covering Type-C and Lightning, with a total rated output of 100 W, enough to fast-charge a modern handset. Passengers scan the QR code, pay for the session and charge, with no deposit and no borrowing.
What makes the in-car case different from a fixed location is that the vehicle is moving. The device has to keep working through vibration and through summer cabin heat, and the operator has to keep track of assets spread across dozens of vehicles. The plug therefore uses metal contacts with dual metal spring leaves to hold a stable connection over rough roads, the cable is rated from -20 °C to +70 °C, and each unit carries its own 4G module rather than tethering to the driver's phone. That means every vehicle goes online independently: orders and revenue are visible per vehicle, billing packages are configured remotely, device online status is monitored, and multi-vehicle or multi-team revenue splitting is handled in the same dashboard.
The main unit fixes to the cabin with an adhesive clip mount, so there is no drilling and no wiring work. The orange one-piece housing is deliberately conspicuous, and body silk-screening, cable and connector mix can be customized. Honeycomb Era supplies the device as standard stock and as an OEM/ODM private-label build for channel partners, fleets and operators.

Key Features
- Cigarette-lighter powered, live on insertion — fits the 12 V / 24 V socket of most vehicles. Metal contacts with dual metal spring leaves; no vehicle wiring is modified and there is nothing to install.
- Independent 4G per unit — each device carries its own 4G module, so management does not depend on the driver's phone hotspot.
- Dual retractable spring cables — Type-C and Lightning on spring reels: pull to extend, release to retract, no tangling. A cable tidy strap keeps the idle cable stowed.
- 100 W total output — fast charging for mainstream handsets, PD and other mainstream protocols supported. When both ports are in use, power is allocated automatically between the connected devices, so a single journey is enough to restore a useful charge.
- Scan-to-pay, no deposit, no borrowing — the passenger pays for the session by QR code, billed by duration or package. With no borrowing cycle there are no overdue or lost-unit disputes.
- Automotive-grade environment tolerance — high-temperature cable rated from -20 °C to +70 °C, with over-current and short-circuit protection, suited to a cabin that bakes in the sun or freezes overnight.
- Adhesive clip mount — the clip is bonded in place and holds the unit steady on rough roads, without drilling the interior.
- Revenue visibility in the cloud — order statistics, revenue review and remote device monitoring, with multi-vehicle and multi-fleet revenue splitting for operators running at scale.
- Stock plus OEM/ODM — body logo silk-screening, colour, cable and connector mix, payment page and a branded mini-program or app can all be customized.

The 100 W figure is the total rated output of the unit; when both ports are in use, power is allocated automatically between the connected devices. Dimensions, weight and certification are series-level or subject to measurement. Cable length, connector mix, colour, connectivity and billing rules can all be customized.
Applications
- Ride-hailing and taxis — one unit on the front console or rear passenger area so passengers can top up during a long ride; the driver can share in the revenue.
- Intercity coaches, tour buses and chartered vehicles — a single unit covers multiple rows of passengers on high-occupancy trips.
- Car rental and car sharing — fitted per vehicle as a service upgrade and an additional income line.
- Freight and logistics fleet cabs — charging for drivers and co-drivers on long-haul routes, managed centrally per fleet.
- Commercial in-car sharing projects — channel partners and operators deploying across a fleet with a dedicated brand dashboard and revenue-splitting structure.

The standard configuration uses QR scan-to-pay (WeChat Pay / Alipay). Alternative payment channels for markets outside China can be reviewed with your sales contact on a project basis.
FAQ
- How is an in-car shared charger different from a power bank sharing station?
- They serve different situations. A power bank sharing station sits at a fixed location: the user borrows a unit and returns it. An in-car charger mounts in the vehicle and lets passengers scan, pay and charge directly, with no borrowing and therefore no overdue or lost-unit disputes. It suits high-turnover mobile environments such as ride-hailing, taxis and coaches.
- How do passengers pay? Is there a deposit or a return process?
- No deposit and no return. The passenger scans the QR code on the unit and pays, then charges. Billing is by duration or package. Price, capped rules and the driver or fleet revenue share are all configured in the cloud dashboard.
- Does drawing power from the lighter socket affect the vehicle? Which vehicles fit?
- The unit draws from the cigarette-lighter socket, which is normal in-cabin power; no vehicle wiring is modified and it is plug-and-play. It fits the 12 V / 24 V socket on the great majority of vehicles, and the plug uses metal contacts with dual spring leaves for stable contact. Unplug it when not in use for long periods.
- Which phones can charge, and is fast charging supported?
- The standard configuration carries dual retractable cables covering Type-C and Lightning, so plug-in-and-charge works across mainstream handsets. Total rated output is 100 W with PD and other mainstream fast-charge protocols, allocated automatically when both ports are used. Connector mix, cable count and cable length are configurable; the exact protocol list is confirmed against the measured factory specification of the selected model.
- Can 100 W exceed what a cigarette-lighter socket can supply?
- The unit is specified to the vehicle lighter-socket supply standard for 12 V / 24 V sockets. The 100 W figure is the total rated output of the device, allocated automatically between connected devices rather than drawn at full load continuously. The plug uses metal contacts with dual metal spring leaves and does not modify the vehicle circuit. If the socket has been modified or is current-limited, tell us the vehicle configuration before ordering and we will confirm the matching model.
- Is the unit reliable in high cabin temperatures and over rough roads?
- The cable is a high-temperature type rated from -20 °C to +70 °C, with over-current and short-circuit protection. The main unit is held by an adhesive clip mount that stays fixed over rough roads, which suits continuous in-vehicle use.
- What happens if the 4G link drops, and what data can the dashboard show?
- Each unit has its own 4G module. Once online it reports orders, revenue and device status, so an offline unit or an anomaly is spotted quickly. The behaviour during an outage — whether offline charging is permitted and how orders are uploaded afterwards — is configured per project.
- Can I order a private-label version, and what are the MOQ and lead time?
- Yes — body logo silk-screening, colour, cable and connector mix, payment page and mini-program or app branding are all customizable, with independent software deployment for own-brand operations (7-day delivery). Units are supplied from stock; channel partners and fleet operators are welcome. MOQ and lead time are confirmed with sales, with first-article samples in 15 days and mass production in 45 days.
